God's C.O.U.R.T -Children Obeying Understanding and Reading Truth
Children are a wonderful gift from God. At SuzNaz we are grateful for the privilege of working with children. SuzNaz Kidz is for children ages birth through 12 years. We seek to provide them with a safe environment where they can feel loved and accepted for who they are. We want them to know that God loves them and has great plans for them, Jesus died for them and wants to be their closest friend. We know there are so many things competing for kids’ attention today, and we want to partner with parents to equip kids with what they need to follow Christ every day.
Weekly Schedule:
Infant Nursery - Pages- Our wonderful volunteers are available to care for children birth through age 2 in our infant nursery. While you are welcome to keep your child with you during services, we provide a welcoming nursery staffed with experienced moms who will keep your child safe and happy while you enjoy worship. We have a paging system in place to provide you with peace of mind knowing that you will be paged immediately if your baby needs you.
Pre-School room - Squires- Kids ages 2 through 5 are welcome in our fun pre-school room. Our experienced nursery workers are waiting to welcome your child and help them develop friendships with kids their own age. Rest assured that if your child needs you during services our attendant will page you right away. You can also view your child on our closed circuit TV to see how they are adjusting to their new surroundings.
Sunday School- Sunday School starts at 9:30. We offer 3 classes for kids, pre-school, boys, and girls.
*Debbie VanSickle is our pre-school teacher. She has a degree in early childhood education and lots of experience teaching little ones. You will be amazed at how much your young child will learn in Miss Debbie’s class.
*Aaron Reger teaches our boys grades 1-6. Aaron has an amazing gift of communicating to Children. The boys love Aaron's enthusaism for teaching God's word.
*Donna Kennedy teaches girls 1-6. Donna has been teaching Sunday School for several years and the girls love being in her class. She builds an environment where the girls feel loved and accepted.
Children’s Church –Knights
We believe that corporate worship time is important for families so children stay with their parents in the sanctuary during worship time and prayer. Once they are dismissed they head to Children’s Church for the remainder of service. In Children’s Church we have prayer time where kids add their prayer requests to the prayer wall. Next we have a lesson followed by a game and snack. Parent’s can see what their kids learned in Children’s Church by going to www.suznazkidznewz.blogspot.com There is a “parent stumper” question each week designed to get kids and parents digging through their Bible together.
SuzNaz Kidz Bible Study We are studying the book of Matthew. We meet at Pastor Kathy's house from 6-7pm on Monday nights. All kids 1st through 6th grade are welcome to join us.
Upcoming Events- VBS is scheduled for the Week of July 9th. We will be meeting from 2pm-4:30pm. Check back for theme and registration information coming soon!
